Shipping Information

Shipping Destinations

We ship to addresses within Canada, the United States, and select international countries.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order, the destination address, and the selected shipping service. All shipping rates are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Order Processing Time

  • In-Stock Items: Orders are typically processed and dispatched from our Canadian office within 7 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays).

  • Pre-Orders: Items marked as pre-order will ship on or around the date indicated on the product page. If your order contains a mix of in-stock and pre-order items, your order will ship complete once the pre-order item is available.

  • High-Volume Periods: During sale periods or holidays, processing times may be extended.

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order before shipping and tracking information has been provided. Once the order has been processed for shipment (i.e., you have received a tracking number), the order cannot be cancelled. Please contact us immediately at [email protected] if you need to cancel an order.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes (Non-Canadian Orders)

  • Canadian Orders: Applicable GST/HST/PST is charged at checkout. There are no additional duties or customs fees.

  • International Orders (including USA): Orders shipped outside of Canada may be subject to import duties, customs taxes, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Highness Art is not responsible for any duties, taxes, or clearance delays.

Returns and Exchanges Policy (Final Sale)

Due to the limited and collectible nature of our books, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds for a change of mind.

Final Sale All books, limited editions, and collector’s copies are Final Sale. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds unless the item is damaged or defective upon arrival.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged due to shipping or contains a manufacturing defect (e.g., misprint, missing pages), please contact us immediately.

  • Notification: You must notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing us at [email protected].

  • Required Documentation: Include your Order Number, a clear description of the damage/defect, and photographic evidence of both the product and the original shipping box/packaging.

  • Resolution: Upon review, we will arrange for a replacement (if available), or issue a full refund (including original shipping costs) if a replacement is unavailable. We will cover the cost of return shipping for verified damaged/defective items.

How to Initiate a Return (for Damaged/Defective Items Only)

  1. Request Authorization: Email our customer service team at [email protected] with the subject line: Damage/Defect Claim – [Your Order Number].

  2. If your claim is approved, we will provide instructions for the return. Returns sent without a valid approval will not be accepted.

  3. Shipment: Ship the package according to our instructions.
