This piece is based on a single tree on Brunswick Avenue (in the iconic Annex Toronto) uses a technique of deconstructing and layering a single photograph which the artist uses as both artistic technique and metaphor for how simple images can take on the proportional vastness of epiphany. Influenced by the writings of the thirteenth century Francisco Jacopone da Todi, this piece is created as a meditation on faith, life as well as the individual and collective responsibility that lies in fulfilment through faithful service.
